Rescuing the Common Good from Integralism

My 2023 book, Human Dignity and Liberal Politics: Catholic Possibilities for the Common Good, was written to challenge some misrepresentations by integralists and others of the Catholic Church’s stance in relation to politics. Integralism has become such a major topic in recent Catholic debates in theology that Oxford University Press commissioned Kevin Vallier to write a book explaining the origins of the movement, its principal tenets, and the major lines of argument for and against it. This book, All the Kingdoms of the World: On Radical Religious Alternatives to Liberalism, appeared in 2023.
