‘Ave, pater, atque vale’: The Heaney–Steele Letters

To say that Seamus Heaney wrote letters is to understate the case. The vast majority of academics who interacted with him have letters or emails from him. The recent book The Letters of Seamus Heaney sets out a selection of these letters from 1964 to 2013.
